Spent a couple hours working on "my girlfriend" last night. Did the AIS removal and slapped on my new set of Cobra Slashdowns. Got a chance to take her out for a spin today and they sound great. They are actually quieter than I thought they would be, but from what everyone is saying about the loudness of the HK's, I think I might have a happy medium. You do get a nice scream out of them when you step on it a little, but I was hoping for a something slightly deeper. I really picked the Slashdowns because I liked the way they looked and it seems a lot of guys have the HK's and I wanted to be different.

Nice! I've got a set of speedsters on mine and I agree, it seems to be a nice compromise. HK's are high quality pipes, just too loud if you care about being a responsible neighbor.
