Awesome...where basic is better; and ...too much bling would destroy that thing.

Hey Rubberduck! xs650 Yamaha is the way to go! There is a whole "cult" of xs650 nuts out there! Myself included. try Mikes 650 .com or 650.com or g&l choppers .com You won't belive the parts and tech help that is out there for those little scoots. You can have anything from a "show chopper" to a "rat bike" and spend as mutch or as little as you want.

Absolutamundo! I've owned at least 6 of those babies over the years, from a georgeous '72, the one with the red and white paint job (the prettiest of them all) to a couple of the last year '83's. They were all sweet in their own way.

Back in '73 and '74, I crossed the country 3 times on one! Worst saddle in the world... had to get off every 100 miles to feel my bum again!!!

THAT GREY BOBBER HAS A FENDER STRUT IVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE. I WAS WONDERING WHAT IT WAS OFF OF. I HAVE A VSTAR 650 I WANT TO BOB AND I WOULD JUST LIKE TO LOWER THE FENDER CLOSER TO THE WHEEL AND THAT LOOKS LIKE THE WAY I WOULD LIKE TO DO IT. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO ON THAT PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I WOULD GREATLY APRECIATE IT.

Here are pics of a couple of VStar 650's. You can them from $3000-$4000 in good stock form. Probably get under $3k if you looked hard.
