Hey Derf: The 'tuxedo' Roadstar-pretty classy name! I still like the "Tao"-a cosmic balance between opposing forces ( at least we don't have to fight about which color is best-black or white-since we have them covered).

Haven't been keeping score lately on the height thing, since I did the original posting, but at last count, we six footers ( and, for the most part a healthy, well-fed lot, teetering on being considered 'grain fed' in some rural areas) are way ahead. Of course, if I still road a Harley, I'd be much slimmer (from pushing it up these West Virginia hills!

Happy Trails!

Re:RoadStars-Big Bike 4 Big Guys? Tally 5 Years, 2 Months ago
Here's the tally to date:

Out of 30 respondents 20 are over 5'10=66.666%

27 of the 20 riders included their weight, totalling 6,014 lbs!

That averages out to 223 lbs. per rider.

"Big Bear", you are the 'pick of the litter', with 'thebru' a distant second at a "sleek", as he put it, at 275#.

Happy Trails!

I'm 6'2" at around 280. When I was out shopping for a bike it was a lot like trying to buy clothes. Big selection to choose from but nothing in my size. I'd bet some of you guys probably know what I'm talking about. You get that 2XLT shirt home and wash it once and you're rolling the sleeves up until the doggone thing wears out. As soon as I sat on the XV I knew I was home.
