#20612 Dutchman (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 100 Saddle Bag Bracket Options 5 Years, 2 Months ago   Currently putting some Bub Stubbies on my R* and have concluded that I do not like the OEM saddlebag bracket. I would like to get rid of it for a cleaner look, but I also want to keep my Silverado bags. What are my options? Funny thing is, when I bought the bike, I wanted as much crap as I could get on it. However, after owning it for a year, I find myself wanting to strip it down and get it as clean as I can. Is this minimalist approach normal? Thanks in advance for the advice. I'm in the opposite situation of the OP. I bought my R* wanting nothing on it. However, I immediately missed not having SOMETHING to carry a couple things. By chance I stumbled across a guy with factory Silverado Midnight bags (a couple years old, but I like the look of them; leather with studs to match midnight scheme rather than the hard, glossy bags that come on them now)who wanted an upgrade. So I grabbed the bags for cheap, but have no idea on how to mount them to my bike. I'd love to hear any ideas or suggestions.
