Huh??? 5 Years, 2 Months ago
Received the new Star promotional DVD in the mail today, dropped it into the player and......... Not ONE single mention of the Road Star in the entire 1 hour+ DVD!

So you don't appreciate that they took the time to send you an infomercial for the 1300 and liner?

I've noticed they don't advertise the Roadstar, except for the Warrior. And I've only seen one ad for it. They do advertise the V-Star and Roadliner lines but the RoadStar must be so well recieved they don't have to advertise it and still sell out every year!!!

I can see it going to FI (Yuck ) And maybe even shaft drive (BARF!! ) cuz it seems that sooner or later they always do something extremely stupid if something sticks around long enough. But there's too much demand for bruiser cruisers and the Roadie fits that to a T.

Of course on the other hand Honda had the 750 shadow with dual carbs, ran on regular, and had chain drive which fit the style perfectly. And it was a very popular bike. They dumped it for the Aero with a single carb, needs premium, and has shft drive. So.......

noticed the same thingon the dvd (it's an hour?? I turned it off after 10min.) My dealer told me the liner sales are in the toliet and Yama mama is trying really hard to get sales up. He even tried giving $1500 cash back to move three of the liners he had. In one month he sold 4 R* full price and 0 Liners.
