he did buy 300 million of the debt from the financing arm, along with another investor who also bought 300 million. The money will be recirculating in the term of loans for new motorcycles. The only question I would have is if HD is basically buying money at 15% to lend back on motorcycles, what interest rate are they going charge the guy using the credit? If you are going to have to pay 20% interest to get a motorcycle.. a bike is probably not best financial choice for that person right now, but to each their own.
