I think she is good for another 50,000. Never changed the oil, never changed a spark plug, never did a thing to it except put gas in it. That thing ran and ran and ran. Just wondering did you do all the "required" adjments or just oil changes At 30,000 miles I had a trusted mechanic go over the bike and make any adjustments he deemed necessary, and my memory is that there were precious few. I have been pretty religious about oil changes, most often around 5,000 mile. Then, last winter, I got the dreaded "recall notice" and had that work done...it apparently came out all right (I was holding my breath)...I've put about 2,500 miles on it since then and it is running strong. The thing that has cost me the most money is rear tires...I seem lucky to get 8,000 out of one. I am pretty certain that my enjoyment of acceleration may be part of the cause...ah well...I do love it.   Logged     The administrator has disabled public write access.
