Stock Headlight 2 Years, 10 Months ago

You may have read in another thread that I am recovering and rebuilding from an incident with a left turn pick-up truck.
I have been hunting aftermarket, custom and OEM parts to see what I want to use to put this thing back on the road and while dinking around with the bike discovered that not only is the headlight bucket and ring beat up, but all the hardware inside has been knocked loose too.

I like the factory headlight look just fine and I want to keep it factory, but ...

My question boils down to, has anyone replaced their stock headlight with a fancy custom light, that might want to generate a little cash and clear a spot on your shelf by selling the OEM headlight assembly to me? Mine is a 1999 model and I don't think the configuration has changed in 10 years, if you know better straighten me out on it.

Do you want chrome or do you want to paint it? I think I still have mine but it has a couple of scratches on the bottom.

I'm not scared of 'scratches on the bottom' as long as they can be waxed to keep rust out.

Besides, if the scratches somehow begin to bother me it's not a lot of money to just order a clean empty headlight bucket or ring if I have the innards in workable condition.

Let me know what you want for it when your ready.

Next I have to get the sheared bracket bolt out of the bottom tree .. grrr
