Things my motorcycle has taught me....

1. Asian made fasteners will strip the first time you try to remove them.

2. Asian thread lock is 3 times stronger than Super Glue (and is often the cause of #1)

3. Contrary to rational thinking, 60hp is sufficient to lift the front wheel of an 800 pig off the ground if you launch it hard enough.

4. Engineers are still morons

5. When you get copies of your key made, make sure the copies also works in the gas cap or you could find yourself many miles from home with a near empty tank and no way to fill it.

Something as small and simple as a kickstand can make the difference between looking cool or going through an awfully embarrassing moment.

That riding in the moment is a spiritual experience...and helps me connect with all that I see.


That riding the perfect curve is like being with the woman you love, and carressing that soft curve right above her hip...


and that cresting a hill and seeing scenary that is so breath takingly beautiful that all you can say is thank you...thank you... thank you...

I've learned that there's something else Asian that I like to bounce up and down on at high speed...

My friend found out that you don't flip off a pissed off cager!! He still rides and thank God he can, but he now uses more restraint while riding.

I spent a lot of years worth of sundays in church and a lot of days in a catholic school. I've come to my own conclusion that there is no god. But the representation of god has made many a man kill another man, help another man, and ignore another man. Faith is mankinds way a dealing with fate. Fate is not set in stone. A stone can build or destroy. Detruction is the building block of all life. Life almost always begins with pleasure and almost always ends in pain. Pain shows us that we have feelings. Feelings are emotions. Emotions are what cons us into thinking we're right or wrong. Rights and wrongs are great things to learn from. Learning the hard way is always the quick way out of a situation that wasn't as bad then as it is now. Now, is what is, and has always been, mankinds basis for the desisions we make. So make the best of it!

Nevermind what my bike has taught me. This thread has taught me that I could use a six-pack of beer, so yeah... I'm off to learn about six tall, frosty lessons.

I'm not sure how your bike taught you all that....but that's an impressive review and I agree with most of it!

bike taught me to leave the kickstand down after 3 or 4 jackncokes, and catch a ride with a desdriver, oil from the oil tank is hot and they are hard to get off of you when they fall on you, not this bike thank you, keith

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out why some people are so twisted, busted, broken down, depressed, sad, oppressed, and afraid... just listen to the words coming from them; their thinking... what is actually in their heart.
