Stock mufflers gone!!!! 2 Years, 10 Months ago
Finally got all my parts in for my 09 roadie. Put the Cobra mufflers on along with a K&N filter and plugged the AIS hoses. Sounds like a motorcycle now!! SO far it's looking good. Got Willie and Max revolution bolt on saddlebags and windshield bag, quick release windshield, Yamaha big bars with highway dually pegs, Raptor sissybar without the pad. One last mod goes on in the morning, the baron's pull back risers.

And, I don't see any mention of a Power Commander...

So, you're good to go...

Great job! Let us see some photos when you're done (not that you ever will be).

Rich,

Thanks for your input on the muffler mod. The bike sounded rough at first but after riding for an hour the computer did it's thing and adjusted nicely. The $$ saved by not getting the power commander will go toward replacing the stock seat. The Cobra slipons have just enough sound for me, quiet when I need it and real nice when I twist the throttle!
