New Bike Prep 5 Years, 1 Month ago
I have an opportunity to get a really good price on a new 2006 shipped direct (crated). Does anybody know where I can get prep information? I know general bike prep (my dad used to own a Kawasaki shop), but need the specifics for this bike.

Thanks!

If you search this site I am fairly sure you will find a link to online copies of all shop manuals, including a build manual. if not here I know I have seen one on the web but cannot, for the life of me, remember where...old age I guess.

You can view the parts catalog and the owner's manual here: http://www.starmotorcycles.com/star/service/servicehome/home.aspx. I didn't have Adobe reader loaded, so I couldn't view, but I think what you're looking for is in there.

Here's the assembly manual for the 1600, shouldn't be any different for the 1700.
