Is there some way to calculate the volumn of the carb float, hence the pressure against the needle, and perhaps find a different needle or seat or needle and seat of float ?
Reason I ask, I can build a carb for any of my off road cars and trucks and always use electric pumps with 14 to 25 psi, depending on the use and rarely if ever have this problem if done correctly.
Just my 2 cents

Hey jv
I'm sure there is a way to calculate it and maybe someone has done it already. Don't know if they have. I know I'm not smart enough to. There are ways around this problem but the bottom line is that Yami is putting out a faulty product that can lead to serious injury. The "done correctly" you mentioned is at the heart of this issue. It doesn't seem to me they did.

Drill a couple vent holes for air, he'll be okay. Remember when you were a kid and caught bugs and put em in a jar? Couple vent holes in the lid and they were good to go.
You could get away with that in Taiwan RoadieFF!
There was this little old Taiwanese lady on a scooter. (There are millions of little old Taiwanese ladys on scooters there,) But this one was strange as she had a cardboard box with a clump of hair sticking out of it on her footboard of the scooter. Then the clump of hair MOVED! ...Thinking it must be a little black Pomeranian puppy in the box on the footbard of the scooter, we investigated closer as we sat beside her at a stoplight. It was a baby BABY!
...and the laws of OUR country have us putting our kids in "complex" carseats that take a guy half an hour to get your kid in and out of!
(I hate these newer "complex" legal-to-use child carseats! Somebody that designs them things should try to use them sometime!)
...OOPS! off topic, AGAIN!

Take the float off and put it in a jar of water. The amount of water displaced is equal to the volume of the float.
Archimedes principle.

But at least jv can build carbs. Much more useful.

Only Doc could come up with a great answer like that.
So simple and straightforward, ...without it getting complicated.

Not an IT 'geek' but I do 'play' with them enough at home.
Been getting a virus message on one of them but I can't seem to trace it down.

well those of us that run stock seem to have the problem so lets try this one for a cure,1 more airflow, stock air cleaner, stock short manifold carb tucked in between cylinders, no air flow while riding, v twins are notorious for running hot.,when parked after riding heat builds up around carb due to hot cylinders, hot exhaust and carb being in so tight to engine, gas boils .gas pukes out,now possible fix, longer manifold to kick carb out away from cylinders, and a smaller air cleaner to allow more air flow around engine
when you have a boiling problem on a race car we would put a riser plate between the carb and the manifold, worked every time ,bike can't be that different
