Slicks a really groovy guy, don't let the oiled back hair fool ya.
He and his friends and crew ride down from Illinois to North Carolina for a party we have glorifying the chopping of CB750 SOHC Hondas at Riders Roost most every year.

We've had more than 200 Honda Chopper Mother F***rs show up at one time.

I think it would be really cool if we could get a few of us together and do something similar with our Road Stars. It's a real blast to hang with a bunch of guys that know your bike as well or better than you do and discuss face to face obscure maintenance quirks and stuff. The camping, cooking, beer and brotherhood are toasty too.

After I heal and get the ride on the road again I'll see if I can put some kindof a ride with an agenda together where some of us from one spot ride and meet some guys from another spot somewhere in the middle. Pretty soon you got 5 groups meeting and your suddenly in the middle of a really groovy thing.

A buddy of mine had a 750 chopper like that one, man that was one smooth riding Bike was a great ride for hard tail sounded great to love to ride it again

that is a awesome bike love it. sounds like a good idea to get a roadstar meet.

My next door nieghbor still has her dad's Honda 750 Nighthawk sitting the garage going to waste. It has 4300 miles on it and it looks like it came off the dealers floor! It's been sitting for over 5 years now and I havn't been able to talk her out of it yet! I keep dreaming about doing something radical with it...but no luck yet.

That brings back some fond memories..........
