Mine took about 500 miles to really feel like home. But I used the heat seat scorch butt break in method so that might have sped up the process. The Mustang is always going to feel firmer than the stocker so it won't be a cushy feather bed feel.

Yeah, it really seats you different on the bike too. Now I think I need to move the floorboards forward. One thing leads to another, does it ever end?

Moving you forward is almost a universal comment when ever someone comments on the Mustang. I had to put forwards on my bike when I went to the seat. But after that the fit and ride were perfect so it was well worth it to me.

Nope. It never ends. If there isn't something that really needs doing we make something up.

there are 2 methods for making your own in the tech tips - http://roadstarclinic.com/content/view/74/107/

I don't have the tools or a place to make them so I got mine from a guy on the RSR. The only difference between the one in the tech tips and mine is mine has an elongated front hole so I can adjust the tilt of the boards. I'll see if I can find the link but I haven't seen him posting on them for quite a while so I don't know if he makes them anymore.
