Bought my scoot in march of 2007. She just turned 50,000 on the ODO. Still purrs down the freeway. You just gotta love these bikes. Hats off to the Yami engineers, R&D department and all those involved in the making of our RoadStars. I bet they had no idea it would flourish to what it is today!Lone*Road* (LoneStar RoadStar)

Re:50,000 and still going strong 2 Years, 6 Months ago
I got a letter in the mail from the dealership I bought My '07 Roadie from, hoping I'm enjoying my scoot, etc. Then they invited me to look at their newer models for a possible trade-in. It also said people are "hot" for used bikes now, so my trade-in wouldn't be a problem. I thought to myself, thanks but no thanks. I love what I have. It fits me, it has all the power and beauty I could ask for in a cruiser.

Gotta agree with you Lone*Road*, Yami did it right.

I just rolled 50k on my couple of weeks ago, and still going strong. I hope to get at least another 50,000 out of her before I'm done.

turned over 80,000kms (50,000 miles) on the way down to faro a couple of weeks back.

a superb 2,000km weekend.

and to date no problems with the bike of any significance.
