#21651 MIKEY T (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 4 front brake noise 1 Year, 7 Months ago   hi everyone read some stuff here in the past about the "whusshing" "whurring" "angry bee noise" comming from the rotor/caliper area of the r* my bike is a 2007 with about 1050 miles on it will this noise eventually go away as i wear in the brakes some more?? is there something i can do to stop it? i guess i can just ignore the noise but .... i was wondering, the heat disapating holes edges on the rotor are sharp to the touch from their drilling out i guess as these holes go past the brake pads the are causing some kind of harmonic noise can i hone out the edges of these holes a bit ? would it help ? is it even worth it? thanks for the help be careful out there!!! ride safe!!! / ride snart!!! regards ,mike   Logged     The administrator has disabled public write access. #21663 Curt (User) Never to old to ride! The sharp edges on the rotor holes help clean the pad of debris by scraping the pad as the rotor turns. If you bevel these edges this could force dirt into the pads.
