Sealed spoke rims 2 Years, 9 Months ago
Looks like I'm going to have to put at least a new front tire on this winter and since I'm changing brands I'll probably throw a rear on also. I would like to seal the spoke rims and go with tubeless tires. I know there has been a discussion on how to do this but I was wondering if any of you out there have any updates on how the sealed rims are holding up for you. I figure I will seal them, mount the new tires and if they hold air OK I will then add the Ride Right to them which "SHOULD" seal any leaks if they occur? Any input / advice / opinions are appreciated.

Anyone mounting tires check this site out.

I haven't tried this yet, but I will keep it in mind for the future.

As soon as this Metz rear wears out, I'm off to the Darkside myself!

Two weeks ago, when I had a new rear mounted, the guy at the shop where I got the tire recommended doing this. It looks pretty straightforward. Trouble with doing a job like this, is that I can't find 24-48 hours of down-time here in AZ.

Hmmm, I'm also just starting to look at a piece of land for future retirement and that sounds just like the kind of problem I need!!
