Head light visor 2 Years, 9 Months ago
A guy at work owed me some money so he paid with a Harley Davidson gift card. So I'm looking around for something that doesn't have Harley on it and come across a head light visor. I bought it and took it home. It fits the headlight but it is real loose.
Is there a bracket that mounts inside the housing that can hold the visor in place? My bike is an 05 R*.
I also picked up the turn signal visors, but I am going to return them. They don't even come close.

Even the Yami ones are a little loose and often cause the infamous "headlight rattle". There's no real bracket...it just fits between the exterior ring and the lamp housing. Try some electrician's tape along the top of the visor (out of sight), or if you need more pressure on it to keep it in place try some foam weatherstripping.

There are two different visors because there are two different ways of mounting the lamp. All of the H-Ds use the same type of mount and Yahama uses the other type mount. That is why it doesn't fit

I got the headlight visor to fit finally. I took the headlight completely apart. Taking the ring that holds the globe that the light goes in and installing the visor inside the ring and putting the globe back together. The part number for the visor is 67752-77T.
Today I went and got the visors for my passing lamps, and it was easy to fit on the bike too. Just took the lamps apart and fit the visor in between the ring and the bulb. That part number is 67783-78T.
As soon as I can get the picture download figured out I will post some pictures so y'all can see.
