Thats why i dont take the R* emblem off my tank. I WANT them to know its a R*. 2 days ago i had a group of about 7 guys come thundreing up behind me on their "other bike". I was just puttin along when the front guy slowed as he got next to me,pulled his clutch and made alot of noise and took off. Got to the red light when he stood up looked back at me and gave a dumbass grin to his buddies behind him.Thats when i realized he looked exactly like the deuche bag my ex married. Light turned red and we took off together. When he looked over and took off i said...well ... im either going to be a hero or a zero and said f*** it and went WFO from 2nd gear thru 5th. When i hit 3rd gear i didnt see his ass again untill we reached the next red light which at that point i stopped...gave him a s**t eating grin, shot him a peace sign and turned right smiling ear to ear. Thought about following them untill they stopped(i knew where they were going) so i could ask him if he had the title to his 401K but felt completely satisfied that he just looked like a fool to his buddies. Never f*** with a shooting star!

Got up yesterday morning, and it was 56 degrees! Got on the Roadie around 8:00....Got off at 2:30. I have no idea how many miles I put on her..best guess 250-300. Everytime I do this I am always amazed how how she preforms. Doe not miss a lick all day! My best friend of 40 yrs rides a Roadie too. When ever I say something about how amazing the scoot preforms he always says,"Why do you think they call them Road Stars?"

I had a funny thing happen to me on one of my last rides....I was at a gas station filling up the R* and this guy walks up and starts looking the bike over. All of a sudden his head snaps up and he looks at me and sternly says, "That's not a Harley!" My initial thought was to say, "I didn't say it was...", but decided to chose my words more carefully. I said, "No, it's a Roadstar". After that we had a good conversation, but it sure was funny to see the look on that guy's face when he discovered he had mistaken a Roadstar as being "another brand".

When people question me about it being a Harley or not I just them "Nope, it's not a Harley. It's bigger, better and faster." But of course that's only my opinion. Not meaning to insult and HD riders out there.
