I've gotten so many "wow that's a great looking bike" compliments it does make owning a R* satisfying.

I like Harley's very much. It I could have bought a year old Fat Boy new for $8K I would have. But I bought this bike to ride and that it does extremely well.

Just wish I had more economical seat upgrade options for the wife.

Just remember Shacky, anything you get for seating is cheaper than buying a HD!

I get the "Nice bike!" comment a lot. Or people peer at it, look it over, and then finally say, "That's not a Harley, is it?" And I tell them, "No. It's a Yamaha Road Star."

Ride what you love. Love what you ride. (And that goes for women AND motorcycles!)

bottom line, we DONT have to take a back seat to any other ride. Many of my HD friends tell me it's a great looking bike. I believe we know what the rest of the world is starting to learn. I like the idea of designing OUR own logo. I for one believe the time has come

It would be tuff to design our own logo/badge. Definitely. I've got a buddy who's a tattoo artist and does custom painting, too. I'm sure that if I took a design to him, he could reproduce it. It would be cool to incorporate it into a custom paint job.

My brother in law has an ultra glide classic. It runs for a weekend and is down for a week. We have only gone on 2 or 3 rides since I got the roadie, now he won't ride with me until he gets a ''new'' engine for his bike. He is going to buy himself a 113ci or bigger so his bike will be faster... I love HD, but I shouldn't have to spend 8K on a 12K bike to make it out perform a bike I spent 4K and a sportster on...

Hey shacky. Get her a better seat.....on her own roadie! Some guy with his 80 mother pulled up next to me in a mazda miata and said "nice harley". So i told him "Thanks. Nice porsche" Bigger Engine. More Reliable. Half The Price. Its a Star in my book. (copyright 2009)(Pay Me Bitches)
