First of all, I'm relatively OK - scraped, banged, and bruised up, but it seems mainly "cosmetic" damage. Bike is about the same. Laid it down on its left side, and it slid up under a pickup truck (as did I). I'm more pissed off and embarrassed than anything. Guess I should be thankful I'm not hurt worse.

I need some recommendations on repair shops in the Charlotte, NC vicinity. Any help you guys could provide would be much appreciated!

Anyway, here's the damage to the bike, as far as I can see it:

Handlebars - bent at right angle on right side (apparently from going under the pickup's bumper).
Tank - dented and scraped on left side;
Windshield - brand spankin' new, and now pretty wrecked. Dammit.
Crash bars - totaled - bent and scraped up pretty bad.
Front light bar - bent up pretty bad.
Headlight - dented on left side and scraped up.
Fork covers - bent and dented where windshield mounted.
Tail lights (signals) bent/broken.
Bags - left one is pretty wrecked, with much of the "pleather" scraped off. Right seems OK. (but I want some hard bags, anyway).
Sissy bar - bent and backrest pad torn.
Driver backrest - scraped and maybe bent a little.

Good news is that the frame, wheels, pipes, and all seem OK. Of course, that was just after a quick inspection in my post-crash stupor. It may be worse than it looks, but I need a shop to determine that.

NOTE: I was wearing a mesh summer riding jacket with padding in elbows, shoulders, and back, and you can't even tell it was down. It is literally in perfect shape! Helmet is scraped up, but it did it's job. Gloves and jeans are torn - not much else. I would gladly recommend the jacket to anyone interested.
