Democracy is two wolves and a small lamb voting on whats for dinner. Freedom under a constitutional republic is a well armed lamb.

I have a stock seat I will send you if you want while yours is getting fixed, just pay shipping one way. PM me about the seat if you want to use it.
I like your idea of the 110 hooked up to it, but throw in the trail camera so you can at least enjoy the pictures of them getting the shock! Then share them with the police, and us, and You tube, everyone!

TopGun, I don't know about the upholstery situation for you, but just for info, I have a Scorpio Alarm on my scoot. I have the optional perimeter sensor on it. Depending on the sensitivity of the setting, it will give off two short and loud signals and stop (giving the person that approaches a warning that an alarm is going to go off if further advancement is still on their mind) After that, it will set off, and set off loudly. The night vision concept seems to be a good too. Lone*Road*

I plan on hooking up a 110 volt live wire to it.
Be careful when you do this. You need to unhook the alternator,if you do that or you are looking at possible damage to it. That is if I remember right. You might want to check with a good mechanic first.

Sorry to hear about the bike TopGun. Never ceases to amaze me what stupid crap kids will do for fun. I'd run out and get yourself one of those infra-red trail cams (no flash) and mount it somewhere inconspicuous and out of view. Next time they come back you'll get some nice pic's to identify the perp and be used as irrefutable evidence.
Being you live in NY (the nanny state) I definitely wouldn't recommend any kind of physical alteration if you catch them in the act. The powers that be up there have made it more than clear that in such events the criminal has more rights than the victim.

My brother-in-law throws pots and has a kiln. He says that once you throw the switch, nothing's left - not even the bones.

I'm a "bleeding heart liberal" (well, not quite, but compared to a lot here it's close enough) - and even I like the Big Dawg's idea with the kiln.
There's no excuse for messing with other people's stuff (and the flag burning thing was just over the top). While the "right" answer is to get it fixed, get an alarm, and not let it ruin your life - the "satisfying" answer involves the night vision goggles, a baseball bat, and whatever happens, happens.
Best of luck to you. Why can't people mind their own damned business?
