FAIRING QUESTIONS 2 Years, 5 Months ago
So I've saved enough to buy a fairing and paint it. I'm leaning towards the Wide Open. Seems like the best deal.
Few questions:
How is the fit?(look to big, to small, fit around the highway lights)
Wind protection?
Overall product quality?
Dealing with Wide Open?
Stereo any good?
Are you satisfied with it?

Pics would be great from different angles. For me it's a big purchase so any info would be great.

Thanks DAVE J. That's what I hope. Your windshield is fairly tall. What size is it and do you look over or through it. I like looking over.

Just put a Memphis Shades fairing on mine. Just an open fairing, no stereo, etc. Great quick release system for cleaning the bike.

Do a search on w.o.c. farings and open up one of coachdan's replies, then go to his web site he has posted, he has many pics.

I ve had mine for about a year and its holding up to the bumpy roads and everyday grinds.
Installed my own stereo and speakers, polk marine speakers.

Re:FAIRING QUESTIONS 2 Years, 5 Months ago
I am very happy with mine. Quality, fit, durability...all good. One thing I like is that it has a sleeker profile and angle (installed on Yami windshield bracket). I am playing with its height vs my helmet height to find the wind sweet spot (my current helmet is a mushroom).

Some have suggested the taller windshield (like folks with fairings did in the good ole days) but I like the lower profiled smoke. I am hoping Klockwerks makes a Flare for it soon.

I have a different headunit and speakers (Alpine with Rampage amp to drive the 6x9 saddlebag speakers).

See my sigpic and link to more pics for my views. I got an email from Sam at WOC last week and he'll be adding some of my pics to their gallery view soon.
