Congrats on the new ride... Unless you change your mind.

Thanks XMM. I'd say it's about 90% or better odds at the moment.

Congrats, Emu. Either which way you go, you can't go wrong for a second bike. Now your R* can be converted into a solo rider!

You had better get a passenger back rest for the Rocket or you will be riding solo. That thing has some big time go.

G'day newroadie.... taken care of mate. One quick release bar and back rest. I also bought a touring seat with rider backrest (Triumph option). You're quite right, she has got some big time go....Rocket is a good name.

I'm going on a Poker Run on Saturday, organised by the Vietnam Veterans...I think I'll take the Road Star for a ride. The HD riders might not like having something there with a lot more cubes.... Seriously though, there were over 400 bikes on last years run so this poker run should be a good one.

G'day Spudwrench12....mate, in the tropical north we get about 2 cool weeks a year and you can easily ride all year round. Today the temperature is hovering around 82 degF. What do we say in Queensland...'beautiful one day....perfect the next'.

Wow - hadn't seen that 1600cc vertical twin Thunderbird. That's a hell of a big vert twin.
