Automatic Choke.....kinda? 5 Years, 1 Month ago
I have noticed through the colder weather that while warming up with the choke out- and in some cases riding a mile or two with the choke at 1/2 - the choke will end up back in without me doing it.

Does this happen "automatically" for some reason? Any problem letting this happen?

Mine goes in by itself from the first notch or a little past. I like that it does that. You can tighten up the round rubber grommet behind the knob(not the plastic nut behind the mount) to make it move harder if you want.

after removing my fuel pump i had to make a bracket to mount the choke cable, after this i noticed the choke would not stay on so now i just pull the choke and give it a twist it hardly moves when you do this but it stays out untill i push it back in

I was able to just mount the knob at my right air cleaner screw, worked real good
