Well guy I don't have any baffles just the torque chambers so that rules that out. Besides there is no way I can loose a torque chamber because of the turn out tips. I think I just need to give her a shot of seafoam as she had to be running real rich with a water logged BAK.
UPDATE
I cranked it up this morning and it sounds fine now. Really strange so I am going to dump some seafoam in the tank and go for a nice long ride it may just needs blowing out good.

That is what I am hoping too Doc she sure swallowed a bunch of water. Hate to think I might have bent a valve. I am going to take it out for test spin this afternoon for a while and warm it up and see if it does it again.

I have not heard of anyone damaging their engine running in the rain but it's not out unheard of some guys having problems when it rains heavy ... although it's usually while it raining not after the fact.

Been caught myself in some heavy downpours but had not had any problems ... only problem if it has been sitting in the rain all day,

Never had a problem with the bike while riding in the rain......and she's been ridden in some pretty heavy rains for a couple of hundred miles. Never had her spit or sputter, except the time I got some gas with water in it.

Of course my bikes totally stock....

I agree with jbiv. The water probably cleaned out a pant load of carbon and the wet filter, put it all back. LOL
