Hey that's really cool.
I had heard about a Corvair tryke in the next town over for sale several weeks ago, but spent hours combing the area where it was supposed to be sitting out front and never did find it.
I like that bike in the video though, real clean.

Real curious as to how he got the North/South power converted to East/West so as to use the stock clutch and trans.
I like it alot! Wouldn't mind contstructing such a project myself!
Coolest bike I ever saw was in the mid-80's at a campground in NH. It was a GoldWing all made out to look like a late '40's Harley. Everything, but the engine looked ancient. It was so cool! I admired that bike for the longest time!

Very nice and well done. Love the sound.
At AEE Choppers in the late 60's they built a Corvair trike with the engine in the front instead of the rear like everyone else. Had a C-4 automatic in it. Sat three, one in middle and one on each side over the Goodyear Blue Streaks, springer front end. It had wheelie bars and needed them. I rode on it with Tom the owner and he could pull up the front end when he grabbed a handful at 60 on the freeway. It was amazing. That Corvair motor was an overlooked gem but I never htought of putting one in a Harley. I will say this though they are leakers so that guy will STILL need to clean up his garage every time he rides!

Here's another video of the mechanics of it. Not a lot of detail but it will give you an idea.

Wow a friend of mine Renee Yetto built one of those also in the late 60's. Same deal, front mounted corvair motor, wheelie bar, springer front end.
I also remember he ran 4 carbs on it.

We used a flipped third member to get it to run the right way. Not many Corvair trikes running with the engine in the front, too hard to do. Ours used a T-bar for handlebars the front end was so far away.
A guy in LA bought it off of EBay a few years ago and no one has seen it since.

Watched the video... still doesn't much explain how he got the power to go from N/S to E/W, but that's okay. I'm not going to try to build one anyway.
