Been watching this topic and looking at the iridium's also. Seen them at local Meijer's automotive section for $5.99 each for Autolite Powersport Iridium. How are these compared to NGK's?

Over the years I have tried all types and always go back to NGK! For a extra 1.13ea go NGK!!! We sell more NGK than all the other brands we offer combined. Just my .02

My bike didn't like the OEM NGK plugs ran better on Autolites. Then I got the NGK iridium's and boy did it like them. More torque and 51-52 mpg highway at 70-80 mph. You won't sway me to the oem NGK's.

I'm going through the new-used bike rundown and plugs are on the list. I may have to just take the plunge and drop in these 'iridiums" all the kids are talking about. I could wait a tank or two so I can compare, but on the other hand you guys have already done that. No real need for me to reprove the theory.

I took the plunge and picked up 4 of 'em yesterday, I do feel a difference in how smooth it runs at low speed and more pull when taking off. I have not had a single cough through the carb since I put them on, I'll check my mileage on the next couple of tanks, guess that will tell the science side of the story.
Got mine at the local Napa parts store.

Just put the NGk iridium in. Still need to install tank. Have to say the old plugs looked ideal, perfect tip, and just enough carbon on the white porcelain to indicate jetting is right even though I did not do a 100% spark plug read. Front and back comparison was so close in color too, really had to give them a good look, could hardly tell them apart.
