Moderator Posts: 12511 Re:U talked me into Iridium's 2 Years, 8 Months ago   My bike didn't like the OEM NGK plugs ran better on Autolites. Then I got the NGK iridium's and boy did it like them. More torque and 51-52 mpg highway at 70-80 mph. I may have to just take the plunge and drop in these 'iridiums" all the kids are talking about. I could wait a tank or two so I can compare, but on the other hand you guys have already done that. I have not had a single cough through the carb since I put them on, I'll check my mileage on the next couple of tanks, guess that will tell the science side of the story. Still need to install tank. Have to say the old plugs looked ideal, perfect tip, and just enough carbon on the white porcelain to indicate jetting is right even though I did not do a 100% spark plug read. Front and back comparison was so close in color too, really had to give them a good look, could hardly tell them apart.   Logged       The administrator has disabled public write access.
