Well, if Scootergirl's legs can handle it, you can do like I did and just swap sides of the mounts...a little less leg stretch for the passenger, but it provides more view of the covers (even my chrome ones ) and lets you get the side covers off easily if needed. Excuse the bad quality pic, but I used the webcam here on the PC in my garage, but it gives you the idea...
