I have Chrome covers, don't waste your money, dealer or maybe you will over tighten them and they crack at the rear where the bolt goes in, then you fix it and it cracks again, cheap plastic. I've heard a lot of the ones being sold are plastic, but I think I lucked out and got a set of OEM that someone had chromed... Like, if a good looking woman has a matching bikini top and bottom, you tend not to stare at whichever one has your favorite pattern or design (flowers, sea shells, etc). If they don't match and you really like the seashell design on her top, let's say, well, then, we all know how that gets us in trouble with our girlfriends and wives Frank, I didn't know about the "floorboard down" tradition I so prefer the look of my bike with the boards down I guess I'll have to rethink this.
