I am looking to install chrome fender tips front and rear. The Star ones cost a king's ransom, who sells aftermarket ones?

I've seen others like Kuryakn (I think Yamaha sells them now too). Google it!

I looked all over and the only ones I could find were Star. They are high but good quailty and eashy to put on. Bofish

I would argue the "good quality" description for the Yamaha pieces...they are not concentric to the lines of the bike and the front lower one fits like a saddle on a sow. I plan on removing mine and welding the holes shut prior to repainting this winter and will be selling my tips(Lowers for front and rear)shortly thereafter.

the factory parts are lousily plated. my mirrors went, & the both fender tips rear have pieeling issues and they dont fit (lign up) very well either...

i am thinking of having mine plated gold to match the intake...

Dude, I know you guys on the North Shore having been born and raised there. Gold? The carb is one thing but the tips??? "Pimp my scoot" or "Trick my bike"

Im with scotto talk about a bike make over thats like a fake over ...... I just want eveyone to know about a site I found for bike parts since our SUV and st route 219 in W.VA. incident PinWall.com LOTS OF GOOD STUFF dont go gold its old GMAN.
