EDIT NOTE: I don't add it to the oil, I add it to the gas.

Yes, I do that on every other oil change. I don't worry too much about running it real hard, just get it revved up a bit. When its time, I fill the tank up, add a bottle of Chevron's Techron (I think this is the same basic formulation as Ring Free) and go for a long ride. Then I make sure I change the oil immediately to get any crap the Techron cleans out of the system out of the oil.

Roadstar_Rob: I'm looking to extend my driver boards out away from the bike. All of the extensions I've come across are for moving them forward. Anyone familiar with extension mod to set them out wider? Thanks, Rob
