It's a tribal flame design. But yeah it does sort of have that look. (just the tank).
I could clear coat it if I wanted to, but I think I might just go with the 3M clear paint laminate. It's removable.

What is 3M clear paint laminate?

thanks

I'm kinda of the opinion that if YOU like it, then what else matters? You are just making it yours. Enjoy!

I like the decals a lot. You can solve the foot board covering some of it up by taking them off! Go to pegs. While you are at it dump the saddlebags and then you can see the paint on the fender! Toss the front boards while you are at it...you'll never go back! Just kidding too each their own but you would be amazed how much bike is under there when you strip them way down....

Darn, I'm looking at Weston Signs Inc. for my decals also. I assume you are happy with the product. What size did you use for the tank and side covers? How obvious is it that it's a decal? Any issues with peeling or washing bike? Thanks.

I am typically not a fan of removing the badges, but I think it works very well on your bike. I like it.

Here's a sample from Weston Signs Inc. It is a user submitted photo (not mine). Looks pretty cool! Plenty of options to choose from.

I got the smallest ones for the side covers and the 13X 8 for the tank. A few of the members who were at the last M&G in Lake of the Ozarks took a good look at them, and were surprised that they were decals. I keep my bike pretty clean (ask Greyphart) and I don't have any clear on them or anything protecting them and so far they still look good.

3M makes a Paint sealer that's removable. I first heard about it from MS1700. Do a search for 3M paint sealer and there is a link.

I know it's making it mine, and "If I like it", but sometimes I can get crazy and go overboard with "Fixing" something.
