h-d ultra-classic engine guard question 2 Years, 3 Months ago  
hey guy's

found a good used h-d engine guard to install on my roadstar.

question, how do i get the angle of the engine guard installed right if i would want to install the fiberglass lowers from h-d later down the road? do i need to stop at a h-d shop or does somebody here have that info!!

I had to make these brackets first to move the lowers out to clear my rear master cylinder

after I mounted the engine guard to the brackets I was able to dill the hole to mount the top of the guard

already have floorboards moved up 3"

the h-d guards line up with the front bolt perfect but not sure if
the engine guard is to far forward (but it looks good!!)

That's about how much mine are moved forward, I had to us a 3/4 inch spacer on the top center bolt between the frame and the guard because the guard was about 15 deg difference then the frame
