Wild ride home I had saturday night when I got off work! Clutch cable broke on the way home , had to cut some parking lots and a light or two and a sign! It was good to see the house!:

If you carry quality vise grips, in such a jam you can connect the gear shifter to the clutch lever and vise grips to the shift post clutch with the shifter a shift with the vise grips. At any rate, you CAN stop by pushing in the clutch with the gear shifter and using the brakes. Bobbers actualy use this method sometimes as a way to return to nostalgic days, AKA the suicide shifter.

Add Quality long handles vise grips to your tool kit.
