RK - welcome to the club (of those of us who have taken a spill on a bike)!

Glad to hear all is OK, curious to know what you found out about the light SNAFU.

I took a spill on a country road near where I live last fall (ironic it happened in the fall) when I thought this lady wasn't going to stop at an intersection. I jumped on my brakes a bit too hard (i had just installed stainless lines) and locked up my front wheel. Next thing I know I go down face first, roll onto my back and slide 30 feet into the intersection. The lady in the car freaked out and a nurse stopped to check if I was OK and she put bactine on my chin (hey, whenever a cute girl wants to pay that much attention to you, you don't argue).

I was very lucky since I don't have highway bars. My R* rested on the right side taillight and the R side mirror and brake reservoir. All had to be replaced, as well as one of my driving lights. A minor scratch on the ends of my V&H pipes. Un believably, there was no damage to the fenders or tank.

Worst thing hurt was my pride.

Pharma--

Sorry to hear about your spill...scary, ain't it? Hey, at least you had a cute nurse there...but I did have a nice guy help me pick up the bike.

Most of the purple is gone from my ankle as is most of my limp/favoring of the ankle, and the tweaked floorboard extension is off. Floorboards are back to stock position.

The light turned out to be only a blown 15 amp headlight fuse in the fusebox. Popped a new one in and she's back to Christmas tree status.
