I ride mine as often as I can all year round (even in the winter when I can) because walking around the house jonesing for the next nice day sucks. We know how you feel, especially those of us up north.

dvblair: Has anyone cut off the heel portion of the shifter? I never use it and would like to have the extra room. I would like to remove it but it looks like you would need a spacer on the shaft and I'm not sure ...
