Tri Bar 5 Years, 1 Month ago
Just an update

The Tri Bar setup required some mods to the passing lamps..

My visors for the headlamp and passing lamps looked terrible with the Tri bar

But kept the visors on the sig lights ...looks good

And for those who are wondering why the mod
Instead of reflecting light thru a refracting fluted lens....the tri bar like a lot of newer auto apps...uses a rear reflector waved etc sending the refracted light thru a clear lens

Looks good!

My headlight is a Tri-Bar and you're right, it's considerably brighter than stock .... but certainly not like yours.

Damn eBay seller STILL hasn't gotten my replacement to me...

Not that I'm keeping the bike vertical long enough to need the light...

Musky

Yes the rear signal visors look cool

RK

The same E-bayer would not give me shipping to Canada..didnt answer my e-mails 3 times gave up ... I bid on the same Tri-bars as you

so thats how I ended up ordering from Kuryakyn the
Adzures
and I ended up putting ...with Seal- All..... two O rings on each passing lamp.. 1/8x 4 1/4 x4 1/2 to make a lip and worked great...
but the Visors did not look good on the Tri bars...they look good on the OEM lights

Kinda took away from the whole Tri Bar look

PS do not know why the pics look amber
but the lights are a nice deep red

The pic is with the running lights only...brighter when brakes applied

I highly recommend the RTB controller from Kuryakyn and the red lenses and the filed 1156 clear bulbs

unless u want to go whole Hog like RK and set up a rear end light show

DOC did the Sens lose??? so did the Canucks OH Oh

Go Leafs Go.....maybe next year

We are gonna retire Sundin and sign up Alfredson

Post edited by: Pop Rivet, at: 2007/04/15 03:22
