A friend of mine recently won a decked out 2010 Mustang GT last august. They said it's all his, right after he pays tax. It's considered a gift, so taxed at a different rate, not sales tax. He had to come up with 18k to take it. Sadly, it ended up on ebay. It was valued somewhere around 70-80k. I'd still pay $6k or so for that bike if that was all it was. I thought they said it was valued at 25k though.
