I wish spring would get here Now I have a nor'easter heading to Connecticut. I LOVE new england. I have been contemplating moving to South Carolina, certainly would increase my riding season. Junior Boarder Posts: 180 Re:Post year and miles/Kms. 1 Year, 7 Months ago   OK, I bought my '02 Roadstar Silverado from a fellow who had it for three years and only put 1400 mile on it. He suggested illness was the reason he could no longer ride and his wife cried when we signed the papers in his kitchen. I had fallen in love with the bike at first sight. The price was premium but the bike was cherry. Come July of this year I will have had it for 3 years. Presently I clocking 39775 miles on the odometer(subtract the original 1400 and you get what I do in my spare time.) Never had any problems other then a couple of nuts vibrating off, replaced a few bulbs when they burned out, getting the recall done on the tranny and repairing me and the scoot following an accident last year. It was in a crate then. Late last season after intense researching, I decided on the Road Star before I actually laid eyes on one. I had been searching E-bay and one day came across the ideal one--black, in great condition with V&amp;H Longshots already installed. I checked out the location and found that it was sitting about 2-1/2 miles from my home! What great luck. I went over and bought it immediately for $5000. I think it may have had 7000 miles on it and was in near-mint condition.
