Back Off LEDs 5 Years, 1 Month ago
Was hoping some kind person would help keep me out of the school of hard knocks.\
Just bought a back off license plate holder with led lights. Before I start chopping wires is there anything I should be aware of? :

Also were are good place to hide the brake light modulator?

I have about 300 mile on my RS Midnight and am certain I made the right choice just need some more warm weather.
Thanks ahead of time for any input.

Welcome to the Clinic, S7--you've come to the right place to ask questions!

Not sure about the kit you bought, but I just added a kit the added run/brake functionality to the rear turn signals. I had to use wire taps, and there was plenty (sorta) room in the chrome fixture behind the license plate for that. Not sure how big your modulator is, but a couple of other good hiding places are in the left side cover where the fuse box is (I hid my air horn relay there) and under the toolkit under your seat (hid my remote control receiver for the LED lights there).

Hope that helps!

Thay helps alot. I have not explored the inside of the bike yet. Although that is were I was going to look first. The plate holder I got has LED's that act as running lights and stop lights. Plus the things is chrome plated for a little bling factor!
