Starter? 5 Years, 1 Month ago
Ok, I have a question, Every now and then when I shut off the bike, it sounds like the starter spins, and sounds pretty bad, and not normal. It only does it about every 4th or 5th time I shut down. Any suggestions?

Yup. Starter spin back. Lots of them do it. Mine does when ever it feels like it.

It's just the starter clutch grabbing when the motor goes backwards at shutdown. Doesn't hurt anything.
