Mine was a base Midnight Star. The Sliverado comes with the windshield, saddlebags, passanger backrest all that stuff. They both say Midnight Star on the speedo. I added all my stuff after the fact. Both are the same bike and both have chrome front ends.

Now how do I open the seat. I tried the key in the pressed "open" position .

Is a fuse blown?

DON'T press down on the key, turn it to the left hard and push on the front of the seat and then lift the front of the seat up. If you press the key down and tuen it it locks the front forks in the far left hand position.

Just turn the key left without pushing down. If it don't pop open push down on the front of the seat while turning the key.

I opened the seat per your directions. Also discovered an unused tool kit.
