At what point can one switch over to synthetic oil? I'm just over 600 miles at this point. And anyone use Amsoil or Royal Purple? When I make the switch, I will be using one of the above. Which brings me to something I've always wondered...are those magnetic oil plugs really worth a crap? Never used one in any vehicle, and it doesn't seem like the Roadie would need one once it's passed the break in period...
