Rather than do math to calculate what your theoretical top speed might be why not just hit a nice stretch of interstate and find out what your actual top speed is?

That is what you want to know, right?

I've seen dealership dressed folks hanging around 'Biker Theme Bars' bragging about manufacturer and dyno specs, they bore me, screw colportage bikers.

The guys I run with ride for fun, they will show you what their bike will do, if you ask (pull up and grab hell outta throttle is a good way- ) and can keep up.

My 1999 with just bare minor mods will run from Salisbury to Burlington averaging 85-90 mph non stop trouble free and do 105mph from 70mph in maybe 2-3 seconds, I haven't gone over that yet because of vibration as the front tire has (well not when I get it back from the shop) some scalloping and the rear was getting slick.
