Anyone know the washer parts # from Yamaha? I have been to every parts store in town and no luck. Even went to Fastenal and they couldn't help.

Road_Hawg thanks for the video. I have been letting the bike run for a few minutes and then checking the oil. Will start doing it the correct way from now on.

That 30 seconds is a minimum. Letting it idle longer will not have a negative effect in the accuracy of the reading.

I did what BadBikerBob did with the copper washers and magnetic plugs. I dump 4 quarts and only check the color to judge when to change. Be sure to put 2 quarts in put the dip sick back in and start and run for a few seconds the put the other 2 quarts in.
