Grips - Double T fatty bars 5 Years, 1 Month ago

3rd and final question of the day:

Yesterday I installed a set of Yamaha Double T Fatty handle bars and was going to use the stock grips.... wrong!

The stock grips are too short and the bar end weights on the stock bars don't work on the fatty bars, so what grips work on these bars, does anyone else have them and what did you use? I am thinking about a set of Kuryakyn ISO grips, but would really like to know if they fit before I buy them. If I do go with them, do I buy the Yamaha specific grips or a 7/8" or 1" universal grip?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You can probably go with either the 1" universal or go with the yamaha specific....I think since you have the aftermarket bars, I would go with the universal grips. I just installed a set of ISO grips on my bike a week ago, I really like them.
