Moderator Posts: 6997 Positive initial findings! 5 Years, 1 Month ago   Took off on the scoot friday night for a night over at a friends house about 120 miles away. Big W/S , saddlebags , ME, and about 80mph average on some seriously desolate secondary roads chasing my buddies American Ironhorse. Stop for fuel and I'm getting like 45mpg. Before BAK I averaged 41-42 all the time. I'm tickled. On the way home I dicthed the windshield (in my buddies wifes car) averaged about 70mph on the same roads home (eyes water too much to go any faster), stopped for gas, and I'm getting like 46-47 mpg. So, so far I'm really happy with the power, MPG's, and the look. I know opinions vary on whether or not Roadies come jetted rich and I'm not going to argue the point. I get in one long roadtrip a year (3-5000 mile average), and loosing mpg esp. substancially sucks($$ right out of the wallet).So, that being said, just getting the added power, and gaining alittle in the tank puts a smile on my face.
