Metzeler ME 880's have always been good to me. Much more rounded than the stock tire for better handling.

Oh boy, here we go

I did alot of looking and comparing and wound up getting the Dunlop Elite 3. It's a higher end dunlop they put on the big Goldwings. Good cruising/touring tire that should give a lot of miles. But you're gonna get more than you want on this thread.

I buy whatever is the cheapest in a WWW, and it happened to be Dunlop Cruisemax's this time around. But everyone will have there own preference.

I have found that one will get better tire wear with the stock Bridgestones than with the softer compounds of say Metzler or Continentals. But you will get a better ride and handling with the latter. I've got 9,500 mi. on the set of Conti. Milestones and the rear tire will have to be replaced this spring. Front tire still looks great.

I also just purchased the Dunlops for my 04-1700. GOt both for $210.00 OTD price. Can't go wrong with these. Hopefully we will get some good mileage from these. The reviews were not too bad.
