I have found that one will get better tire wear with the stock Bridgestones than with the softer compounds of say Metzler or Continentals. But you will get a better ride and handling with the latter. I've got 9,500 mi. on the set of Conti. Milestones and the rear tire will have to be replaced this spring. Front tire still looks great.

You'll get 2 rears to that one front.

And I'll get 1 rear to 1 front on mine, the fronts are really a rear on backwards, They way it looks now, I'll get 30K out of both and change both long before they wear out. I took that Pic of that rear with 7500 miles on it. Still has the little titties on it. You can only imagine the ride better part.

Make sure you put on Metzler 880's with a 160 on the rear.

And make sure you do it yourself by hand in the workshop!

I went with the Avon Venom's and love the way she handles.

If I didn't

I'd be on Metzlers right now, well. I'd be putting on a new Metzler on the rear to match and run out the front. the front.
I was like, do I want 8000 miles of this on the ground .

Or..........The 40K mile Car tire.............

Got the heeebeeeegeeeeebeeeee's?
Go with the Metz!

Avon Venoms. I have gotten 12,500 on a rear and the front has 13,000 and has a lot to go. Stock Bridgestone only lasted 9,800 miles.

You probably know about this already, but I thought I'd share a cool tool ("Tire Finder" ) from CruiserCustomizing's web site:

TIRE FINDER
